Bayberry kate

As an artist with a soft spot for watercolor and a focus on botanicals and coastal scenery, painting is a way to capture the magic of all of life’s beautiful intricacies. What better way to share some of that magic than signing, sealing, and sending it to a loved one.

Bayberry Kate paper goods are designed with hand-painted watercolors inspired by salty shores, blossoming woods, and everything good in the world. All production for stationery and gift wrap is done in the studio, almost always in the company of a good audiobook.

Custom offerings include invitation and event stationery, home paintings, and more.

why the bayberry?

Bayberry bushes are found along the Eastern Seaboard, and were originally used by colonists to make candles with their waxy coating. Over time, these candles and bayberries became a symbol of good luck and prosperity - your luck would last if you burned your candle down to the socket.

Hand-written stationery and traditionally painted artwork harken back to this simpler time, where well wishes and hope for the future are shared around the glowing warmth of candlelight. Gift your loved ones moments of thoughtful intentionality and an envelope full of good luck through Bayberry Kate.
